Idaho Speaker of the House Scott Bedke (R-Oakley) told Idaho Conservatives about his view of the debate on HJR 2, a proposed amendment to the Idaho Constitution which would add a seventh member to the redistricting commission. He discussed a what happened on the floor with a near-filibuster by Idaho Democrats, the current status of the bill and a related “sleeper issue” for which we could see a proposal sometime soon.
